The addition of simple volumetric forms for the reorganization of spaces distinguishes the redevelopment of a bourgeois residence from the second half of the 20th century. The contemporary imprint of the intervention is evident from the exterior,
thanks to the Pavilux cement surface by Isoplam.
The residence of a bourgeois family from the second half of the 20th century, located in Rossano Veneto (Vicenza), close to a proprietary production area, was involved in a conservation project of some typological and formal characteristics of the building, of renovation, for the reorganization of the spaces of the residence and, at the same time, the creation of new appliances. This is an exercise in adding simple shapes which led to the creation of the entrance on the north side and the porticoes on the south and west sides.
The overall result is a living experience that expands towards the landscape horizon, thanks above all to the extension suspended from the ground, which offers a deeper perception of the natural, agricultural context and the park that completes the property.
Architectural and structural features are also fundamental for the new perception of space, real visual connectors between indoors and outdoors, such as the large windows in the living area and the bow window of the living area which emerges from the shape of the main body, reaching out towards the outside.
The contemporaneity of the intervention, alongside this synthesis of essential volumes, is manifested in the colors and materials used, thanks to the project conceived by the Scattola Simeoni architecture studio, founded in 2006 in Rossano Veneto (VI) and winner of awards and publications in public and private architectural field. In particular, it is Pavilux by Isoplam that frames the compositional framework of the structure, a cement surface capable of restoring the strength and beauty of concrete, with above-average performance.

Pavilux, in fact, is traditionally used for flooring in the industrial sector thanks to the selected mixture based on pure corundum, German spheroidal quartz, Portland cement and Bayer oxides, capable of guaranteeing durability and high resistance to abrasion, wear and accidental impacts.
The particular composition can be customized in multiple variations (Macrodur, Extra, Crystalquarz, Corundum, Steel) depending on the environment, internal or external, and the function; as well as with specific surface finishes, which allow other very specific benefits to be obtained (anti-oil, anti-slip, anti-dust, anti-salt, water-repellent or anti-stain...).
This cement solution made it possible to create a continuous surface flooring for Casa F-02, perfectly in line with contemporary architectural standards: the performances were calibrated on the basis of the specific design needs, as well as the aesthetic result, in the Cement colour, thanks to the different colors and textures available and, given the absence of joints or joints, maintenance and cleaning are also simple and quick.
